Kentucky Humane Society

For November 2020, Froggy’s Popcorn will donate 25 cents from every bag of popcorn sold to support grateful animals at the Kentucky Humane Society (KHS). We wanted you to know more about the oldest animal advocacy group in Kentucky.

A private nonprofit agency, KHS is Louisville’s favorite place to adopt a companion animal. Each year, more than 6,000 dogs, cats and horses find wonderful homes through KHS. Over half of these animals come to KHS from overcrowded shelters through KHS’ Love 120 program, which aims to make a positive impact on pets in all 120 Kentucky counties within the next decade. The KHS S.N.I.P. Clinic helps reduce pet overpopulation by providing affordable spay/neuter surgeries to thousands of owned animals a year. And the KHS Pet Help Line provides resources to struggling pet owners so they can keep their pets healthy and in their homes. Since the pandemic began, KHS has provided free food to over 5,000 local pets.

Learn how you can help the animals at the Kentucky Humane Society by adopting, fostering, volunteering or donating by visiting www.kyhumane.org. With your help, KHS will continue to be a champion for companion animals!
